WHAT IS DATABASE ?

Database, Database data type is needed for bulk storage of data because it provide the flexibility to accomodated user need and application. It is the organized collection of data, in order to create a database, there are several aspects to consider the first thing is physical database viewed as data structure. The way of information is stored to the physical database depends on the needed for end user needs. Let us Consider few examples of database:

- Let us consider an example of Student database to store the information of students and add or retrieve the data from the student database.

- Another example of facebook. It need to store, manipulate and present data related to members, their friends, member activities, messages etc.

- A database of a company to store the records of employees, payments of clients.

WHAT IS DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:

Database Management System (DBMS) is the software program that is used to store, retrieve, managed and delete the information from the database. The DBMS provides the user and application programmer to store, retrieve the data from database. The DBMS serve as a interface between the database and end user of the program. The database Management System manages three important things. The data, and the database engine which is used to accessed, locked and modified and the Database Schema, the logical design of database is called Schema. Schema is essential logical set of tables of data types used, giving the name of entities and attributes and relationship among them, and supply a framework value of data items. Database Schema are classified as internal when they correspond to physical database and external, when they corresponding to data an application program..
